GPX 5000, "gold and depth detectors!" It is a Minelab development in the field. It works with DVT (Dual Voltage) technology that allows it to reach incredible depths of penetration even in the smallest objects.
It can be adjusted and controlled digitally. Two different current, dual voltage technology helps the GPX 5000 reach incredible depths that were barely reached before. The strongest performance is achieved on gold or natural gold. It has very high penetration depths in heavily mineralized or salty soils, but the GPX 5000 is also ideal for extremely deep insertion of objects made of bronze, gold or silver for central European conditions.

The GPX 5000 gold nugget detector works with automatic and manual frequency searching for optimum performance. It can be adjusted optimally with fine tuning. It has a special ground adaptation for simple and difficult ground conditions with all metal and discrimination mode.

Another revolutionary innovation is the switch to two different coil models, from the Double D to the monoloop coil. The GPX5000 can be easily adjusted in the search properties by changing the coil arrangement.

In a depth comparison, the Minelab GPX 5000 shows at least 3x greater depth of penetration on gold nuggets and other metals than a VLF detector! In heavily mineralized soils, the GPX is far superior to any VLF gold detector!

The GPX 5000 features an all-metal and discrimination mode, special ground adaptation for heavily mineralized soils, and noise suppression. The GPX5000 is also well suited for saline soils.
